Blog Hop with Carmi & Friends

Hey all!  I had the honor of being asked to participate in a blog hop with Carmi Cimicata, The Queen of Resin ( She does some pretty fabulous resin pieces! ) as well as she does blogging for John Bead Corp.

So she sent me some fabulous product to play with and see what I could create with it:

Second Skin- Fish Leather in a fabulous green and a metal cuff

So I cut the fish leather to fit my cuff bracelet, glued it in place and then added in some fun cabs and a vintage floral metal piece that I have found on some of my travels.......fun and colorful!

The other bracelet is the fish leather in purple and SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Crystal Mesh over the top for a clean and color blocked look with my standard sparkle of course!!

Bead Style Magazine/Bead Room Trend Watch-Neon

Excited to say that I am writing a new Trend Watch column for Bead Style that is featured on their website in the Bead Room!

The first installment is on the fun, super colorful and hot neon trend!  Even Swarovski Elements has jumped on the neon trends with their new neon pearls ( LOVE!).  Granted neon is not for everyone but still it's a trend that makes you smile with its bright and colorful glow on jewelry, apparel, shoes, handbags and more.

I created some fun and statement making necklaces for Dreamtime Creations for their booth at the Bead & Button show featuring the neon pearls from Swarovski Elements.  Loved working with the pearls and seeing different ways to incorporate the neon into my designs from just a pop of color to very bold striking color.

Don't be afraid to add a little bit of bold color to your jewelry designs!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Beader's In Paradise

I am so happy to say that I am going to be teaching in the Bahama's this coming October at  Beader's in Paradise!  If you are looking for a great fall beaders get-a-away well this is one to definitely consider.

8 Fabulous instructors (some of the instructors are my fellow SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Ambassadors Jamie North, Kristal Wick, Sandra Lupo & Tamara Honaman!!!) and a beautiful locale!  What is not to love!
